Specifications:

• Base of anti-corrosion tape: synthetic non-woven material.
• Tape impregnation: petroleum-based plastic mass with corrosion inhibitors.
• Available sizes: 50 mm x 10 m, other sizes available upon individual request.

Tape Application:

• Protection of underground lightning protection system connections and grounding conductors from electrochemical corrosion.
• Anti-corrosion protection of underground steel pipeline elements: pipes, pipe fittings, valves, as well as flange and welded joints.

Advantages:

• The unique mass for anti-corrosion protection is based on mineral oil and contains stress and surface corrosion inhibitors.
• The oil, together with corrosion inhibitors, actively penetrates the surface, protecting it from passivation processes.
• Maintains its properties throughout the entire service life (does not harden).
• Compatible with all types of anti-corrosion insulation.
• Easy and quick application of the tape.
• High dielectric strength.
• Does not contain components hazardous to health and the environment (PZH Certificate).

Tape Usage:

• Materials for performing insulation coatings should be conditioned before use at a temperature of 10 ÷ 25°C.
• The tape should be applied to a clean and dry surface.
• Apply the tape spirally with slight pre-tension and with a 50% overlap.
• If applying the tape over existing insulation, ensure a 10 cm overlap.

Note: The tape must be applied with a thick layer of plastic mass onto the protected surface.

• After applying the tape, smooth its surface by hand.
• Recommended application temperature: 10 ÷ 30°C.

Storage Conditions:

• Store the product in dry rooms in the original boxes.
• The boxes with the tape should be protected from mechanical damage.
• Recommended storage temperature: up to 25°C.
